Co-Founder of MBio Diagnostics - Dr. Mike Lochhead

Dr. Mike Lochhead joined AIS on a snowy Wednesday afternoon in May to share his career path and what he learned on his way to becoming co-founder of MBio Diagnostics.

Dr. Lochhead advised students and postdocs to be resilient and be ready to re-invent yourself. He stated that the key to his success was recognizing his transferrable skills and being able to identify what a group or a company needed and how he could fulfill that need. Dr. Lochhead stressed that your career path may not always be as straight forward as you expect.
